Aisling B a was born on 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared featured on QI together alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after appearing in small parts for Irish and British television shows beginning in the year 2009. In 2012, she began performing in sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms and similar programming. In 2012, after winning an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for different panel shows, where she has become a fixture. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is an extremely popular contestant on the show's sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was the only female to win So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea is her maiden name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who took his own life after Bea reached the age of three, was an victim of self-harm. The news of his death only at 13 years old. In 2017, she wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea, along with her sister Sinead, were raised by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Their parents were both obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a child a tour guide for the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue a racing career. Instead, she was drawn to the artistic arts.
